A HOUSE of an Update ;)

I realize it has been awhile since I last posted and that is because we have been B-U-S-Y!!!  So...I'm going to attempt to get caught up here and post TONS of pics from the last month and a half in one monster post and break it up into posts I would have done if I was on top of it. :)

~ NEW HOUSE ~
At the beginning of October we moved into our NEW HOUSE!!!  We couldn't be more excited about it - it was TOTALLY worth the 3 months it took to build (and 3 months before that of searching for a home on the market only to realize building was a better option).  It fits our needs perfectly as a family and we couldn't be more thankful.  It has been challenging getting all unpacked and situated with 2 little ones, but we are slowly making progress day by day!

I need to take a moment here to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to my amazing parents who let us live with them during our 6 month transition moving over here and finding the perfect house.  I think we all would agree it wasn't easy, but it was an amazingly special time to be together and for Hadley to really connect with her Grandparents.

So...here are some pics of our new home!  I haven't really done much decorating or hanging things on the wall yet - but we are working on it...PRIORITIES, right?!  :)
The happy fam - so EXHAUSTED from moving day,
but so HAPPY to be in our new home!

Pink Dogwood
We had a pink dogwood tree planted right outside of our front porch in honor of Chris' mom.  The pink dogwood is a special tree in his family as it is the tree they planted in the cemetary on Vashon Island where his Grandpa is buried along with other family members, and now his mom as well.

Any suggestions of what I can put on those shelves
that Hadley won't destroy?! ;)

~ PUMPKIN PATCH ~
We went to the pumpkin patch as a family this year and had so much fun!  Corban slept the whole time, but Hadley had fun!  She kept calling the pumpkins balls and would throw every one she could pick up.

~ TIGER HALLOWEEN ~
The kids were tigers this year for Halloween and my parents and I took them to a local church who puts on a huge Halloween event.  Chris had to work, so he wasn't able to come along, but he caught up with the cubs once he got home.  We had a great time!  Hadley played some of the games and pet some animals and ate more sugar than she ever has (although it still wasn't very much)!

Bumpa wanted to be a tiger too ;)

~ CORBAN 3 1/2 MONTHS ~
Corban turned 3 months old on October 30th, so as I'm writing this I'm realizing he is almost 4 months!  AHH!  He is growing TOO fast.  He's such a happy and easy going lil' guy.  He has started smiling a lot and started giggling last week.  I love to hear his laugh and could listen to it all day!  Hadley still adores her baby brother "Dee-dee" (as she pronounces "baby") and is still kissing him all the time and loves to help me pat his back to burp him - along with pushing his swing as high as possible, stealing his pacifier and then shoving it back into his mouth, crawling all over him, poking his eyes and nose, etc., etc....

His 2 month stats (cause I never posted them before) -
Height: 24.5" - 98th percentile
Weight: 12lbs - 55th percentile

LOVE that smile!!!

1st time in the Bumbo chair!

Loves to chew fingers, especially Daddy's

~ HADLEY 17 MONTHS ~
Little miss Haddy Boopers (one of her many nicknames) has personality plus and is a true toddler these days.  She runs everywhere, is jabbering ALL the time, dances to any music she hears, is into EVERYTHING, throws little tantrums and has learned to say "No" (she says "Neh"), but is as sweet as ever giving us hugs and kisses all the time.  She especially LOVES sports balls, babies, and her BFF Koda.  She is always throwing and kicking a ball around and loves to watch me play with my volleyball (which makes me happy). :)  She is a little momma to her dollies - it is the cutest thing!  She pushes them in a stroller, puts them in Corban's car seat, feeds, rocks, and burps them just like she sees me doing with Corban.  She currently also LOVES sheep as we have one across the street and calls them "Baa", she loves fish and ducks, she loves playing with bowls and spoons in the kitchen as I cook, she LOVES her bath time in the big tub, and she LOVES to use our iPhones and any electronic device with buttons.  She has figured out how to unlock our phones and clicks on the different apps that she likes.  ;)

That's our girl throwing a ball! :)
"Bumpa" (Grandpa Jim) dressed her this day - can you tell? ;)

Still is obsessed with her belly button :)
Her first time coloring - she did GREAT and loved it!

~ PLU FOOTBALL ~
We managed to get out to a few PLU football games this fall - it wouldn't be the same if we didn't!  The Lutes had a GREAT season - we are so proud of my Uncle Scott (head coach), bro Jason (who helped coach this year), and the rest of the guys.  They had a winning season of 8-1!  ATTAWAY!!!
The 1st game I managed to get the kids there MYSELF cause Chris was working! I didn't stop sweating the whole game even though it was cold outside!

~ BUMPA JIM'S BDAY ~
My Dad's bday was October 17th and we had a great day celebrating with him.  He is an amazing father and grandpa and we couldn't be more thankful to have him in our lives.  My wonderful sis-in-law made a fabulous dinner!

PHEW!!!  Now THAT was an update - what a BUSY 1.5 months!
