We have been wanting to take Hadley to the zoo for awhile now and when Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium had been featured in the news recently because of new baby tiger cubs, we thought it was a great reason to go! Hadley had seen the cubs on the news and in the newspaper (see below) and was fascinated with them...every time she saw them, she would point and get excited.
I'm not really sure what I was thinking about walking around a zoo in 85+ degree heat while ready to go into labor at any moment - but we had SUCH a fun day! Hadley loved seeing the animals and we can't wait to take her back when she is a bit older and can appreciate it even more.
